The details that keep it working
UVC intensity falls off with the square of distance, so hold mounting tolerance within ±2 mm. Make sure your enclosure materials block UVC leakage, and that operators stick to proper PPE and interlocks. Lamp output is temperature-sensitive—below 15°C, warm-up takes longer and irradiance dips. Match the power supply to the lamp arc length and current rating; mismatched drivers will shorten lamp life and throw off the spectral profile.
